Types of therapy we offer:

  • Child and Adolescent Therapy

We utilize evidence-based approaches that help young clients build emotional regulation, coping skills, and healthy communication, while also supporting parents and caregivers in understanding and responding to their child’s needs. Our work incorporates Play Therapy, a primary modality that allows children to express thoughts and emotions through play, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT-informed strategies), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and behavior-based interventions. Through a warm, supportive environment and collaborative family involvement, we help children process experiences, improve behavior, strengthen relationships, and thrive at home, school, and within their community.

Whether addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or personal development, our approach emphasizes practical coping skills, emotional regulation, values-aligned action, and empowerment. We meet clients where they are and collaborate to create a supportive, non-judgmental space for healing and transformation.

  • Exposure Response Prevention

Resilient Minds PLLC is recognized as a provider through the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF), demonstrating our commitment to specialized and high-quality care for individuals experiencing OCD and anxiety-related concerns. Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is a highly effective, evidence-based treatment for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related anxiety conditions. ERP works by helping individuals gradually face feared thoughts, sensations, or situations while refraining from the compulsive behaviors or avoidance patterns that reinforce anxiety. Neuroplasticity allows new neural connections to be made, ultimately rewiring your brain over time. ERP is currently offered on a limited basis, depending on clinician availability and treatment suitability.

We tailor treatment to each couple’s unique dynamics and goals, integrating evidence-based approaches such as Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT-informed strategies), Gottman-based interventions, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Whether navigating conflict, healing from relational injuries, preparing for major life transitions, or seeking to deepen intimacy and partnership, we offer a supportive, non-judgmental environment where both partners feel heard and understood.

  • Animal Therapy

Animal-assisted therapy incorporates the comforting, calming presence of a trained therapy animal to support emotional regulation, reduce anxiety, and enhance therapeutic engagement. Interacting with a therapy animal can help clients feel more relaxed and open, strengthen trust in the therapeutic process, and provide grounding during difficult moments. This approach is especially beneficial for individuals experiencing anxiety, trauma, sensory needs, or difficulty connecting in traditional talk-therapy settings. Our therapy dog, Waylon, offers gentle companionship, sensory support, and unconditional positive regard.
